Event: April 15, 2012
We will be having a Locks
of Love event as part of our Mitzvah Day. Please
consider growing your hair and donating it to an
organization that provides hairpieces to financially
disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical
hair loss. What a wonderful mitzvah! We will
also be looking for volunteer hairdressers to cut hair

Shir Ami Lifelong Learning presents
the Yiddish Culture Club at 10:00 a.m. followed by Lunch
& Learn. The topic:
HaKoach: The All-Jewish Soccer Team
that Conquered Austria, presented by
Rabbi Eric Goldberg. Each program is a
self-contained course of study from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30
p.m. A cold buffet lunch is available, starting at 11:45
a.m. Pre-registration is not required. Shir Ami members
are asked to contribute $7.00 and non-members are asked
to contribute $12.00 to defray the cost of food and
