Sr. SHAFTY, Jr. SHAFTY, Bonim & Chalutzim
So what is "SHAFTY" anyway? SHAFTY is the Shir Ami Federation of Temple Youth.
We have four youth groups, each one geared to a specific age group. Our primary goal is for Jewish kids to socialize outside of a classroom setting. We offer at least one social event per month, plus participation in synagogue functions, fundraising and charity work. For the older grades we also offer leadership training, mitzvah projects and regional events. We look forward to a fun-filled year with your child.

Sr. SHAFTY Membership: Open to all children from ninth to twelfth grade.
Jr. SHAFTY Membership: Open to all children from seventh to eighth grade.
Bonim Membership: Open to all children from fifth to sixth grade.
Chalutzim Membership: Open to all children in third and fourth grade.
