Youth Director Ferne Levy

 Ferne Levy has been an active member of Shir Ami since its inception in 1978. She has become a Bat Mitzvah, was a member of the 1985 confirmation class, graduated from Gratz College, and was an active member of SHAFTY, the congregation's youth group, as a Vice President.
Ferne also served as assistant youth group director from 1992 until 1999. Currently, Ferne is the Director of SHAFTY, overseeing all four age levels of the organization, with a focus on its senior members.
Ferne is a teacher in Shir Ami's Bar/Bat Mitzvah program. She is also a member of the URJ Pennsylvania Council Regional Youth Committee.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from West Chester University. She currently resides locally with her husband and three children. |
