Staff
Each class is staffed by a teacher and an assistant teacher. Our low child/staff ratio allows us to individualize the program to meet the needs of all the children. Continuing education courses and workshops keep the staff apprised of relevant changes in the field of early childhood education. As a result, the staff is always expanding their base of knowledge and passing it on to the children they teach. Our clergy and our activity specialists complete our team.
Family Involvement
Family involvement is a vital part of the early childhood experience. We believe that the needs of the children are best served when the school and the family work together. We encourage you to become involved in your child’s life at Shir Ami. One way is to involve yourself in our active parent committee. Whether it is helping out with a fundraising event, attending committee meetings, serving as classroom parent, or worshiping with your children at our Tot Shabbatot, your participation is always welcome.
Communication is key to success for your child. Our teachers encourage you to contact them if you have a question or concern. The Administrative Staff is also available and welcome your input.
