The Sisterhood of Shir Ami brings women of all interests, ages, and personalities together in friendship, fun, social action, study and prayer.

Our varied and ambitious calendar of events includes book club, museum trips, mah jong, Sukkah decorating, preparing meals for the homebound, bringing a Chanukah party to the residents of Woods Services, Junior Sisterhood activities with daughters and nieces, organizing the Purim Carnival, torah study and more.

The funds Sisterhood raises allow us to help many people and programs here at Shir Ami.  All Sisterhood members are also members of Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), the federation of Reform Sisterhoods. As part of WRJ we join together with over 100,000 women across North America in helping others and lobbying in Washington on issues of importance to women and progressive Judaism.

There is a valued place for you in Sisterhood at all levels of involvement.  You may sponsor Sisterhood activities, attend events, be part of committees that organize events, develop leadership skills with supportive mentors, and lead/mentor others.

We hope you will join us!  We warmly welcome you to Sisterhood!!

Shalom,
Nancy Siderits
