Sr. SHAFTY, Jr. SHAFTY, Bonim & Chalutzim
So what is "SHAFTY" anyway? SHAFTY is the Shir Ami Federation of Temple Youth.
We have four youth groups, each one geared to a specific age group. Our primary goal is for Jewish kids to socialize outside of a classroom setting. We offer at least one social event per month, plus participation in synagogue functions, fundraising and charity work. For the older grades we also offer leadership training, mitzvah projects and regional events. We look forward to a fun-filled year with your child.

Mindy Smoot will be taking the position of Advisor for the Chalutzim and Bonim groups. Leslie Leibowitz will be the Assistant Youth Director/Jr. SHAFTY Advisor.We are very happy to have these two talented and devoted people to work with our students and to assist our Youth Group Director Ferne Levy
