Introduction to Judaism Rabbi Paula R. Goldberg—Instructor
Are you curious about Judaism? This course is for you if you are exploring Judaism as a path to conversation, are Jewish and want to refresh your learning, or are in a relationship with someone who is Jewish and would like to learn the basics of Jewish thought and practice.
Introduction to Judaism will meet at Shir Ami, Tuesdays 7:15-9:30 beginning on March 25, 2008 for 16 weeks. The course covers topics including holidays, life cycle ritual, the Jewish home, aspects of Jewish belief, elements of Jewish prayer, history, and more. Not only is this course an opportunity to learn and study, but it gives you a chance to meet others with similar questions and situations to your own.
