Where to Give 1. URJ Israel Emergency Fund -- http://urj.org/give The first allocations have already been made to meet the urgent needs of: Leo Baeck Educational center to support the conversion of their shelter into a safe play area for children who can no long play in the parks or streets; Kibbutz Lotan and Kibbutz Yahel to assist in providing housing and food for the dozens of families from the north seeking refuge in the Negev; the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) to provide housing, food and other support to families seeking refuge from the ongoing attacks in the North; Congregation Or Hadash of Haifa to support the upgrade of their bomb shelter to better accommodate larger numbers of people; Magen David Adom to assist in providing emergency medical treatment to those wounded by terrorist bombings; United Jewish Communities/Jewish Agency for Israel to help provide spaces for Israeli children from Northern communities to youth villages in the central region.
