Each month our fellow congregants join toghether for First Friday Shabbat Dinner & Services.
This is a service for every member of our congregation – young and old, those with families and those ‘on their own.’ Our service is brief and joyous enough for youngsters but serious and spiritual enough for adults. So...we have our junior choir singing opening and closing songs, hear a story that deepens our understanding of the Torah portion. And we begin with a congregational dinner open to all – with lots of singing and story-telling – at 6:15 PM. We are all of us – clergy, staff and our Ritual Committee – look forward to “First Friday” & making it one of the most beautiful, joys and spiritually—elevated services of the month.
