Shir Ami Critical Issues Committee
Sandy Newman, Chairperson Critical Issues Committee

It is not what one says, but rather what one does that makes all the difference in the world.
— Pirke Avot 1:17

Critical Issues educates and involves our membership on important political, social and moral issues within the Jewish and non-Jewish communities. In the past, "Critical Issues" have included Soviet Jewry, Israel, Women’s Rights, housing for the homeless, BabyManna, Mazon and AIDS awareness.

Each month very special congregants donate their time and energy to make the lives of others better.

Upcoming Events
We are collecting food for the Penndel Food Pantry during the month of February.  Please place your contributions in the big orange bins by the religious school office and in the lobby of the main sanctuary
Ongoing Programs
Please continue to donate food for our food basket as there is a great need in the community. Our food basket can be found either in the sanctuary foyer or the coat room. Thank you.
